Are KiWAV mirrors E-mark approved?
Some are. Some are deliberately not — and that is a design decision, not an omission.
E-mark approval sets a minimum reflective surface area. Any lens below that threshold cannot carry an E-mark, however well it is engineered. KiWAV builds both: full-size E-mark approved lenses where road legality matters — the MambaX carbon fiber, Blok, Mamba, Eclipse, Retro and Bob ranges in the bar-end mirror range — and compact lenses deliberately sized below the E-mark threshold, for riders who want the cleanest possible cockpit.
A smaller mirror is not automatically a worse mirror. How much you actually see depends on lens curvature, arm length and mounting position — engineering, not surface area. A well-designed compact mirror can give a genuinely usable rear view while keeping the bike visually clean, which is exactly why many riders choose one.
Every product page states whether that mirror uses an E-mark approved lens. If your market requires it, check the specification before ordering.
Which motorcycles do KiWAV mirrors fit?
Essentially all of them. Between threadless, bolt-in and clamp-on mounting, KiWAV covers around 99.9% of the motorcycles on the road.

Bar-end mirrors are made for threadless hollow bar ends (7/8", 1" and 1-1/4"), for bolt-in bar ends from 5mm through 16mm, and as clamp-on units for 7/8" and 1" handlebars — plus dedicated fitments for BMW, Triumph, Harley-Davidson, Indian, Royal Enfield, Moto Guzzi, Aprilia, Yamaha, Honda, Vespa and Can-Am Ryker. Are KiWAV mirror designs original?
Every KiWAV mirror is a proprietary in-house design. KiWAV does not copy other brands and does not assemble from bought-in generic tooling — each model begins as its own design problem and is engineered, tooled and finished in Taiwan.
That is a slower and more expensive way to run a mirror company, and it is deliberate. KiWAV has kept releasing new designs through good years and lean ones, treating each one as a challenge to beat the last. The fact that several KiWAV designs are now widely imitated is taken as confirmation that the originals were worth making — it has never changed the direction.
It is a craftsman's way of working rather than a catalogue-filling one, and it shows in the details riders notice after a few thousand miles: how the arm holds its setting, how the glass stays clear, how the finish wears.

Does KiWAV ship worldwide?

What makes KiWAV bar-end mirrors different?
Riders change their mirrors because they want the bike to look like theirs. The risk is that "different" turns into a mirror that does not fit, does not show the lane behind, or does not survive a winter. KiWAV exists in the gap between those two: the decision should be about how you want the bike to look, not about whether the part will let you down. That is why the choice matters, and why the range is built the way it is.
Fitment coverage. Rather than one universal mount that half-fits everything, KiWAV manufactures the specific hardware each bar end needs — which is how the range reaches around 99.9% of motorcycles.
A steady image. Vibration resistance is engineered into every KiWAV bar-end mirror: arm geometry, mounting stiffness and lens curvature all decide how much the image shakes, and riders regularly report that the standard versions already hold a clear view at speed. For bikes that vibrate hard — big twins, high-revving singles, long motorway miles — the heavy-weight versions add mass at the bar end and settle the image further still. So the choice is not "damped or not damped". Both are damped; the heavy-weight versions simply have more of it in reserve.
What if I order the wrong fitment?
You can exchange it. But the better outcome is not needing to — and that is easy to arrange.
KiWAV publishes fitment guides precisely so this does not happen: how to tell a threadless bar end from a bolt-in one, which thread each brand uses, how to measure what you have. If you would rather not work it out yourself, send the team a photo of your bar end and they will tell you which mount you need. It takes a few minutes and saves a round trip across the world.

Are KiWAV mirrors sold as a pair or singly?
Most are sold as a pair. Some models are also sold as a single mirror — useful if you only run one side, if you are replacing one that was damaged, or if you want a left and a right of different lengths.
Every product page states which, in the Sold in Units option. It is worth a second look before ordering, because "a pair" and "a piece" sit next to each other in the same list.
What if a mirror gets damaged? Can it be repaired?
Usually yes — and usually by you.
KiWAV's first answer is to show you how to fix it. Most problems are a loosened bolt, a worn insert or a cracked glass, and they are short jobs done on the bike with ordinary tools. If a part is needed, KiWAV sells the individual components rather than insisting you buy a whole new mirror.
If you would rather not, you can send the mirror back to KiWAV to be repaired. In practice most people never need to — a part in the post solves it, and it is back on the bike the same afternoon.
Most riders handle it themselves. There seems to be a DIY streak in most people who ride.
Are KiWAV mirrors expensive?
Chasing the lowest sticker price is the wrong calculation.
A mirror that blurs, fades or cracks within a season costs you twice — once in money, and again in the afternoon you spend fitting its replacement. A mirror still on the bike ten years later has cost you almost nothing per year. One of the customer notes on this page puts it plainly: the first set was still going strong after nearly ten years, which is why they came back for a second. So which one was cheaper?
KiWAV has no quarrel with the big-name brands — KiWAV supplies some of them. The engineering and the finish come off the same factory floor; what differs is the distribution chain the price has to carry, not the part. That is the positioning, and it has been from the beginning: affordable luxury — the machining, the finish and the engineering of a premium part, at a price a rider can actually justify.
What KiWAV does not try to compete with is the bottom of the market, where the price is lower because the design, the material and the tooling are not there. That mirror is only cheap on the day you buy it.
And there is one line in this calculation that has no price at all. A mirror is not trim. It is what you look at before every lane change, every overtake, every time you pull out into traffic. What is a clear, steady view behind you worth? Most riders never put a number on it — until the one moment they needed it.
Will I pay import duty or customs charges?
