Bar-end mirrors with matching M6 bolt-on hardware fit Moto Guzzi V7 stock handlebars that retain their original M6-threaded inserts. For this setup, the mirrors attach to the existing threads after the factory bar-end weights are removed; hollow-bar expansion adapters are not needed.
KiWAV Stark for Moto Guzzi (SKU 100179118500003) includes a pair of mirrors, two spacers and two mounting bolts. KiWAV lists this kit for the 2016 V7 II Stone and the 2024 V7 Stone E5 with compatible original handlebars. Aftermarket handlebars require a separate fitment check.
What fits the stock V7 handlebars?
For a V7 with compatible original M6-threaded handlebar ends, the Stark Moto Guzzi kit mounts into the existing threads after the factory bar-end weights are removed. The kit includes two mirrors, two spacers and two mounting bolts.
You do not need a hollow-bar expansion adapter for this mounting arrangement. Keep the factory threaded inserts in place.
KiWAV lists the 2016 V7 II Stone and the 2024 V7 Stone E5 for this kit. If your handlebars have been replaced, choose the mounting hardware based on the bars actually fitted to your motorcycle.
Why won't a universal expander fit?
Many universal bar-end mirrors use an expanding sleeve that grips the inside of a hollow handlebar. That sleeve needs an open tube to fit into.
If your original V7 handlebar has a fixed insert with an M6 threaded hole, use that thread as the mounting point. Do not drill out the insert to make room for an expander. The matching Moto Guzzi bolt-on kit uses the existing thread.

Sold as a left-and-right pair, the kit includes two spacers and two mounting bolts for compatible original M6-threaded handlebars.

Will the right-side mirror interfere with the throttle?
The mounting assembly must stay clear of the rotating throttle grip and throttle tube. After tightening the mirror, check that the throttle moves freely and snaps back fully with the engine off and the handlebars centered, turned left and turned right.
If the throttle starts dragging after installation, correct the interference before riding. Do not leave the mirror bolt loose to create clearance. The supplied spacer is part of the mounting setup, but throttle operation must still be checked on your motorcycle.
What if my V7 has aftermarket handlebars?
Choose the mirror hardware for the handlebars currently fitted to your bike. The Moto Guzzi-specific Stark kit is intended for compatible original M6-threaded handlebars, not aftermarket bars.
For hollow handlebars, an expansion mount must match the internal diameter and available insertion depth. The handlebar's outside diameter alone is not enough to choose the correct adapter.
If your aftermarket bars have threaded inserts, check their thread size and mounting requirements instead. Before ordering, send KiWAV your model year and clear photos of both bar ends with the weights removed.
What should I check before my first ride?
With the engine off, turn the handlebars fully left and right. Check that the mirrors clear the fuel tank and do not interfere with your hands, levers or other controls.
Adjust both mirrors while seated in your normal riding position. Confirm that you have a useful rear view and that the throttle returns freely after all mounting hardware is tightened. Follow the supplied fitting instructions and recheck mounting security after the first ride.
