How to replace your motorcycle headlights? Motorcycle custom guide - DIY your bike lights like no others

I'm bored.

There are many coolest, stylish motorcycles come with original dual headlight.
It suddenly hits me " I want to make one myself !"

A few decisions to make.

First decision: What do I want on my bike? High beam, low beam?

Second decision: What kind of lights I want? LED, halogen, fish eye, angel-eye?

Third decision: What size to fit my bike? 4", 4 1/2", 5", 6"?

Forth decision: Should I go horizontal or vertical?

I decided to go with 4" LED fog light (as low beam) and 4" LED driving light (as high beam), and horizontal, like Wall-E. Low beam to the right, high beam to the left ( right hand traffic ).

Light Shape

The cut-off line of the low beam is perfectly design and wide enough to see everything. It's designed for car use, so it is very wide. The high beam is very long range and very bright as if it is a search light.

Light Distribution

In left-hand traffic countries, you can put the low beam to the left the pattern will dip to left, and in right-hand traffic countries, you can put the low beam to the right , the pattern will dip to the right.

Field Test 1: Dark Countryside Road

I went to several places to find how these LED lights work.

Field Test 2: Residential Area

1. Very Quick Heat Transmittance Ability

As you can see there are no extra heat sinks or fans on these KiWAV LED lights, that is because all light housings are made of high grade magnesium alloy. This metal will dissipate the heat generated by KiWAV LED lights very quickly, and heat is number one cause to kill LED lights.

LED gets brighter and last longer when temperature is lower. And that is the best advantage of the material magnesium alloy LED lights. No need extra heat sink, make the appearance clean and clear.

2. More efficient

Super bright light, way less power consumption, long-lasting quality and light weight, too.

3. Universal Mount

With universal mount along with the light, easy to install without making my own mount.

4. Adjustable Screw

The light angle can be easily adjusted by a single bolt.

Here is a video to show you riding on the road with these LED lights.
